Indeed the last game of the Ghana Premier league season for Asante Kotoko, and the lovers of the club only expected a good result from their team. They also hoped that a miracle could happen in Bibiani and Abrankese so that they would be champions of the season. 

Coach Karim Zito started Mohammed Camara in the post, Joseph Ablorh and Henry Ansu as center backs, then he put Lord Amoah and Patrick Asiedu on the flanks at the back. In the midfield Samba O'Neil returned to partner Andrews Ntim Manu and Emmanuel Antwi. Also the forwards, Peter Amidu Acquah, Saaka Dauda and Albert Amoah. Vision as everyone knows is a side that is dominated by youthful players and always has the mentality of attacking and attacking. As usual early pressure came on Kotoko and the home side looked more desperate for the first goal of the game. But Mohammed Camara who was keeping the goal for the 19th time wanted to keep a clean sheet, he made an early save to keep the scores at 0-0. 21st December 2024 was the last time Asante Kotoko won a Ghana premier league match away from home. Unfortunately Joseph Ablorh couldn't finish the first half due to an injury and he was then replaced by Justice Blay. This meant that Samba O'Neil had to switch roles with Blay and play as center back to give way for Justice Blay to play in the middle.
