On Sunday, July 6, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will resume their long-standing rivalry in the 2025 President's Cup.
The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) announced the announcement at a press meeting on Thursday. The yearly event honors the current president, and this year's celebration will honor President John Dramani Mahama, who is in his second term.
To boost attendance and support for the domestic game, fans will be given free admission to the game.
Despite losing to Ivorian powerhouse ASEC Mimosas in the 2024 tournament, Asante Kotoko is still the most successful club in the competition's history, having won it eight times.
Hearts of Oak, who have won six titles, will be confident going into the match because they have defeated Kotoko in their last two meetings for the President's Cup.
