Bechem United players Francis Acquah and Dari Aziz Haruna have drawn interest from Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko.
Acquah and Aziz Haruna are the Porcupine Warriors' top targets as they look to bolster their roster for the upcoming season.
In order to acquire the players this summer, Kotoko has already started negotiations with Bechem United. The Ghanaian powerhouses believe Acquah and Aziz Haruna are talented athletes who can help them establish themselves in the upcoming campaign.
Acquah, a defender, had a fantastic season with the Hunters during the recently concluded Premier League season. He made 25 appearances, recorded one goal, and provided an assist.
With 28 appearances, 19 goals given up, and 16 clean sheets kept, goalie Aziz Haruna made a name for himself as one of the league's best goalkeepers.
Given that a contract extension seems unlikely, Kotoko seems to be preparing for life after captain Frederick Asare.
Kotoko is attempting to sign both players before the new season begins, as their contracts with Bechem United expire in August.

With accusations of referee influence in the GPL, the young Apostles' coach ignites controversy.
With his assertions that referees, not tactics, decide games in the Ghana Premier League, Young Apostles head coach William Afoakwa has provoked fury.
"We, the coaches in the Ghana Premier League, are merely following the team, because it is the team owners and referees that are playing the matches," Afoakwa stated in an interview with Sikka FM, based in Kumasi.
His comments follow Young Apostles' near escape from relegation in their first Premier League season and Bibiani Gold Stars' league title victory.
The coach's remarks exacerbate long-standing worries about questionable officiating and corruption in Ghanaian football. Long-standing accusations of favoritism and match manipulation have hung over the league, frequently raising questions about the veracity of the outcomes.
After Asare Bediako and Bashiru Rahim left the Wench-based team this season, Afoakwa is the third manager to take over. Young Apostles survived the drop despite the chaos, ending in 14th place with 40 points from 10 victories, 10 ties, and 14 defeats.
His remarks are probably going to spark new demands for responsibility and change in Ghana's top division.
