Abdul Karim Zito, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has urged supporters and all those associated with the team to help the team win the MTN FA Cup so that the squad may return to Africa.

On Sunday, June 15, the Porcupine Warriors will play Golden Kick, a team from the lower tier, in the Ghanaian FA Cup final of this season.

Coach Karim Zito emphasized the significance of winning the final in a pre-game interview, saying that it is a significant chance for the team to compete in Africa and should not be missed.

"The FA Cup is one of the accomplishments that Kotoko has notched up, and it is what makes them great." We are playing it again today, and I recall that I participated and won.

To herald Asante Kotoko's return to Africa, Coach Karim Zito stated, "This is a tremendous opportunity for the entire Kotoko family to come together and rally behind the club to achieve this goal."

Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup next season if they win the MTN FA Cup.

Christopher Bonsu Baah once said, "Training with elite clubs and not getting signed may be frustrating."

After working with some of Europe's greatest junior teams, such as Manchester United and Barcelona, Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has talked candidly about the psychological toll of losing out on contracts.

The 20-year-old, who is currently a standout for Genk of Belgium, remembered playing on the field with future stars when he was a teenager going through trials.

At Manchester United's U16 team, he played with Kobbie Mainoo. Later, he trained with Barcelona's U19 team, where he hung out with Marc Casado and Fermín López, both of whom are currently members of the Spanish powerhouse's first squad.

Baah did not receive a contract offer despite showing his abilities in front of such esteemed colleagues. Looking back on that time, he acknowledged that it was a trial period.

"I believe it is challenging. You are working with them and not getting the contract, so I think it is quite tough for you. You will be upset because you want it sooner if you do not take the time or care," he said to Joy Sports.

"However, it is beneficial for you to obtain the contract when you are patient at the appropriate time. All you need to do is wait patiently and ask God for the correct time to arrive."

It was worth Baah's perseverance. In 2023, he moved from Shooting Stars, a third-tier team in Ghana, to Sarpsborg, a team in Norway. His potential was immediately seen, and after just 12 games, he was transferred to Genk.
