Abdul Karim Zito, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has emphasized that his team cannot afford to lose to Golden Kick in the MTN FA Cup final.

This weekend, the coach and his Premier League team will play the lower-division team in an attempt to win the FA Cup and earn a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round the following season.

Coach Abdul Karim Zito stated before the final that it would be pitiful if his team, which is a titan in Ghanaian and African football, lost to Golden Kick, a team that is regarded as a minor club.

"If a bigger club loses to a smaller club, it will be terribly pitiful; people will not understand [of football]." That being said, Coach Karim Zito stated, "I can not come out and tell you precisely what I will do, but I know what to do based on what I want."

The Kotoko coach went on to say that although he anticipates a difficult matchup with Golden Kick, he is certain that his squad will win the championship.

On Sunday, June 15, Asante Kotoko and Golden Kick will square off in the highly anticipated championship match.

At the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the match will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Christopher Bonsu Baah considers his initial experiences with Kobbie Mainoo, Barcelona's youth, and European teams.

Ghanaian international Christopher Bonsu Baah has talked candidly about his early years, describing how, while on trial at elite clubs, he trained and played with some of Europe's best young players.

At the U16 level, the 19-year-old Genk winger recalls playing alongside Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. Later, he trained with Marc Casado and Fermín López, both of whom have since made an initial appearance in Barcelona's senior squad.

Despite his promise, Baah acknowledged that the journey was disappointing because he was unable to secure contracts. He emphasized the value of faith and perseverance in those trying times.

It is really challenging when you practice with them and do not get the contract. You will become frustrated because you want it sooner if you are not careful. But it is nice when you are patient and at the proper moment. "You have no idea what God has in store for you," he continued.

His move from Ghanaian third-tier team Shooting Stars to Norwegian top-flight team Sarpsborg in March 2023 marked his breakthrough. Several European clubs expressed interest in signing him, but Genk, a Belgian team, did so after just 12 appearances.

After earning a spot in Ghana's national squad, Baah recently made his senior debut in friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago and Nigeria.
