🚨 BREAKING: Paul Pogba Offered Two-Year Contract by AS Monaco Amid Ambitious Transfer Push

In a bold move to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, AS Monaco have submitted a two-year contract proposal to French midfielder Paul Pogba. The 31-year-old World Cup winner, currently a free agent, is considering the offer as he looks to revive his career following a tumultuous spell at Juventus marred by injuries and a doping suspension.

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that Pogba is already back in Monaco, holding talks with club representatives and assessing the project laid out by manager Adi Hütter and sporting director Thiago Scuro. The Ligue 1 side, known for nurturing talent and competing at the top level, is reportedly keen on making Pogba a centerpiece of their midfield rebuild.

Pogba’s potential return to Ligue 1 — where he never played professionally despite being born in France — would mark a significant chapter in his career. A product of the famed Le Havre academy, Pogba rose to prominence at Juventus before his then-world-record move to Manchester United in 2016. After rejoining Juve in 2022, injuries and off-field controversies curtailed his impact, leading to his current free-agent status.

But Pogba isn’t the only star on Monaco’s radar. The Principality club is also pursuing a deal for Barcelona winger Ansu Fati, who spent the last season on loan at Brighton. Monaco is said to be in advanced talks to bring the 21-year-old Spaniard in on either a loan with option to buy or a permanent transfer, depending on Barcelona’s financial requirements.

With ambitions to return to the Champions League and challenge Paris Saint-Germain domestically, Monaco are signaling their intent by targeting elite-level talent with experience and flair. The combination of Pogba’s midfield dominance and Fati’s attacking creativity could transform Monaco into a serious contender both in France and Europe.

As talks progress, Monaco fans will be watching closely, hopeful that the arrivals of Pogba and Fati could usher in a new era of success at the Stade Louis-II.
