It is now over the cry for a second left back to play that position together with Patrick Asiedu at Kumasi Asante Kotoko is now over. Over because Asante Kotoko has signed  Francis Acquah formerly of Bechem United on a three year deal. It's reported that the young man finalised everything with the club on Friday after all documents were checked and saw both parties being satisfied with what they had seen on paper. The dream of Asante Kotoko to get players who have enjoyed national team football is now becoming a reality, Francis Acquah has recently been part of the local black Stars which is now known as the black galaxies. 

His time with Bechem United really caught the eye of many and at a point others club were interested in hijacking the signing of the young man to Asante Kotoko. But due to one or two reasons he is now going to wear the porcupine jersey next season and would also play in Africa as well. 

What about Bibiani GoldStars,Heart of Lions and Nations FC who didn't buy big names yet did better than Kotoko and Hearts? Prior to the start of the 24/25 season, Hearts bought Nations FC's leading attacker yet Nations did better than them, how about that?We need to establish the point that, Kotoko's inability to win the league or lead Hearts by a huge margin doesn't make the Accra based club better in any way as far as football is concerned because we have seen dark horses winning tournaments and highly tipped favourites failing to advance to the next stage of competitions.

Andy Kerm's highly flawed opinion and logically misplaced position is not only unacceptable but a seemingly consolation to the fans of the Accra based club who have constantly subjected Kessben Sports Crew to attacks. We are all involved in this when it goes well take credit when it does go bad to take the opinions to make it work, such is life.
