His very past history with officiating matches that are often played by Asante Kotoko have not been that good. From the famous abysmal performance that he show in a super clash some few seasons ago and he was shadowed from premier league games for a while. But now as we speak Serlom Yao Bless has been on the rise as he has been involved in more games than before. He has made some good progress and the last game he officiated involving the Asante Kotoko was one that many saw to fair as most of his calls on the day was right. For sure there's no perfect being. Same man has been selected to take charge of the match between Asante Kotoko and Golden Kick for the final of the FA cup. He would be assisted by Paul Atiamaka and Theophilus Akugre and the 4th referee would be Adaari Abdul Latif. Everyone would love to see good officiating and the refs always determine games lately.
From the quiet town of Oyibi along the Adenta-Dodowa stretch, a new force in Ghanaian football is emerging and bold, driven, and unmistakably golden. Founded in 2021 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr. Kwabena Asante-Asare, AsanSka Football Club which is popularly known as The Golden Boys are fast and rewriting the script of grassroots football in Ghana. Mr. Asante-Asare, who also serves as CEO of AsanSka Minerals Ltd and the AsanSka University College of Design and Technology, envisioned a football club grounded in discipline, opportunity, and development. Just a few seasons in, that vision is materializing with impressive clarity. In 2023, the club made national headlines by clinching the Ga-East Division Three Middle League title, earning promotion to the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League. Not content with just promotion, AsanSka FC went on to lift the maiden edition of the GARFA Super Cup—a clear declaration of intent from a club with both ambition and structure.
