🔥Six sites in Tel Aviv directly struck by Iranian missiles in overnight attack

In and deeply alarming escalation overnight on June 14–15, Iran launched a coordinated barrage of ballistic missiles toward Israel, with six distinct sites across Tel Aviv suffering direct impacts. Israeli authorities and emergency responders confirmed that while many missiles were intercepted by the Iron Dome system, several penetrated defenses and struck urban areas, resulting in both civilian casualties and significant structural damage  .

The strike, part of Iran’s so-called “Operation True Promise 3,” involved waves of missiles targeting military and civilian locations nationwide. According to Israeli emergency services, Tel Aviv witnessed multiple directly struck buildings; rescue teams evacuated individuals trapped under debris, providing urgent medical care. In total, more than 60 people were injured across central Israel, including at least one fatality—a civilian woman critically wounded in Tel Aviv who later succumbed to her injuries  .

Iran’s retaliation follows a major Israeli offensive initiated two days prior, which saw heavy airstrikes against Iranian nuclear and military infrastructure. Tel Aviv’s Weizmann Institute, along with installations near the HaKirya (IDF headquarters), were heavily damaged in Iran’s reprisal  . On Israel’s side, medical teams treated more than 63 injured, many with shrapnel wounds from intercepted missiles. The Home Front Command reported evacuations from at least four damaged homes in Tel Aviv and its environs  .

One of the most dramatic impacts was near the Kirya, Israel’s equivalent of a Pentagon, where a missile reportedly struck close to high-value military targets. Official sources clarified that the strike did not disable operations but caused localized structural disturbance  .

International reactions have been swift. European leaders and the United Nations urged immediate restraint, warning that further escalation could trigger regional fallout and derail ongoing diplomatic efforts, including planned U.S.–Iran nuclear talks, now paused

What happens next?

Israel remains on high alert. Air alerts continue, and Ben Gurion International Airport remains shuttered. The IDF and Home Front Command have urged residents to remain vigilant, and emergency medical teams stand ready across affected regions.

Iran has stated this assault was a direct response to the decimation of its nuclear program. Israel has responded defiantly, warning that further Iranian aggression would be met with "Tehran will burn,” a stark indication of how both nations are preparing for possible escalation  .

As tensions spiral, global leaders emphasize the urgency of de-escalating before either side pushes the region into full-scale war.
