KYLE WALKER EYES SHOCK MOVE TO PREMIER LEAGUE RIVAL WITH HIS MAN CITY CAREER NEARING ITS END

Kyle Walker is definitely keeping an eye on making a move back to the Premier League this summer as he seems set to leave Manchester City.

Last season, he spent the latter half on loan at AC Milan, but the Italian club decided not to take up their option to buy him.

Now, Walker really wants to stay in the Premier League and is even considering a switch to Everton. But, you know, the Toffees have kind of downplayed the likelihood of that happening right now.

David Moyes is on the hunt for a full-back with Ashley Young moving on, and Walker has popped up on their radar earlier this summer.

At 35, he’s got his sights set on making the World Cup squad next summer and is keen to get to 100 caps for England before he wraps up his career.

However, things didn’t go as planned in Italy. While he started off strong, going unbeaten in his first three games, the vibe quickly turned sour. Milan ended up finishing a disappointing eighth in Serie A, which is not what you expect from such a storied club. A national outlet, Tuttosport, even had some harsh words, saying that the team's struggles "had the face of Walker." Ouch.

So now, Everton and Manchester City are figuring out if they’ll work out a permanent deal or just a 12-month loan while he finishes his contract at City.

Fulham also showed some interest in him, but they didn’t have the budget to make it work.

In the meantime, Walker's off to New York for a quick trip before heading to Jamaica for a nice two-week holiday. Sounds nice, right?

During his impressive eight years at City, he collected 17 major trophies, including six Premier League titles. Pretty impressive haul, if you ask me!

But back in January, he hinted to City that he wanted to try playing abroad, which led to that loan deal with Milan. They had the option to keep him or make it permanent, but they decided against it.

Like City, Milan is also gearing up for a big summer shake-up after finishing the season in a disappointing spot.

Walker recently picked up his 96th England cap in a rough 3-1 loss to Senegal, and he’s really eager to hit that century mark. The England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has made it clear: players need to be getting regular, high-level minutes to be in his plans.

Things are looking a bit shaky for Walker at the Etihad, especially after a season where he saw his playing time drop significantly. His loan stint at Milan was a change of pace, but it didn’t really help him find his rhythm again.

And just to add to the drama, he hasn’t made the trip to the U.S. for the Club World Cup, being left out of the squad along with Jack Grealish. City is set to kick off their tournament against Wydad AC on Wednesday.
