Goalie Fredrick Asare of Asante Kotoko has talked candidly about his experiences working for the team under coaches Abdul Karim Zito and Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Coach Ogum led the Porcupine Warriors into the 2024–25 football season, but following a run of disappointing performances, Karim Zito took over halfway through.
Fredrick Asare told Citi Sports that it was easy to make the switch from Coach Ogum to Coach Karim Zito.
He said that the two coaches' comparable playing styles are the reason behind this.
It was not too hard to adjust to their somewhat similar playing approach because, in my opinion, they have nearly the same style. Because we were prepared to take action for ourselves, we did not find it challenging," Fredrick Asare stated.
In Ghana's recently concluded football season, the goalie was crucial to Asante Kotoko.
Fredrick Asare and his teammates will now play in the CAF Confederation Cup the following season after the squad won the MTN FA.
