Albert Amoah, a forward for Asante Kotoko, has expressed his sincere appreciation and delight after a fantastic debut season with the Porcupine Warriors, ending the 2024–25 season with trophies and noteworthy individual honors.

Amoah reflected on his trip on social media, calling the season an emotional rollercoaster that was full of both setbacks and victories. Amoah was instrumental in Kotoko's comeback victory in the 2025 MTN FA Cup, even though the team lost their Ghana Premier League title challenge.

"What a season! What should I say, and where do I begin? We made it through the highs and lows," Amoah stated.

With 12 league goals, three FA Cup goals, and three Most Valuable Player honors, including Player of the Month in October, the 20-year-old striker played a key role in Kotoko's campaign.

"I am among those to whom God has extended kindness. We arrived, observed, and overcame," he continued. "I appreciate your support, everyone. Together, we created this. I hope we are all amazing. We go once more.

Amoah played a key role in Kotoko's record-tying 10th FA Cup victory and their return to continental action the following season through the CAF Confederation Cup.


Amoah has solidified his status as one of Kotoko's most important players to watch in the forthcoming season with his exceptional performances and close bond with the supporters.

Prosper Boakye Owusu, a defensive midfielder for Medeama SC, has cited Dutch star Frankie De Jong and Germany great Toni Kroos as his role models.

In an interview with Medeamaa FM, the 22-year-old, who has established himself as one of the top midfield players in Ghana's top division, expressed his respect for De Jong, who presently plays for Barcelona, and Kroos, a former Real Madrid player.

"My role models are Frankie De Jong and Toni Kroos. "These two players teach me a lot," he remarked.


"I respect Kroos' ball sense and ability to make long passes. De Jong consistently maintains composure when handling the ball and makes straightforward passes during games. He declared, "I plan to combine these attributes to achieve greater heights."



The quick-rising midfielder has promised to blend the skills of Kroos and De Jong to become taller.

Because of his daring play for Medeama during the last two seasons, the 22-year-old has drawn a lot of attention.

Boakye Owusu made 21 games during the Ghana Premier League season; however, he only provided one assist.
