Prince Kwabena Owusu, a former forward for the Bibiani Gold Stars, is now negotiating a deal with Hearts of Oak.
According to reports, the 27-year-old striker, who has played for Ghana's U23 national team in the past, would join the Phobians before the new season begins.
Owusu joins the capital club with a track record of scoring goals and crucial Ghana Premier League experience. His possible move would fill Hearts' need for a proven striker as they try to bolster their roster for both home and international games.
The former Gold Stars attacker is presently negotiating personal terms, and the two sides hope to finalize the deal in the next few days.
Owusu's technical skill and muscular presence would give Hearts more offensive firepower up front.
Owusu, who excelled in the domestic league and played for Ghana at the youth level, would greatly expand Hearts' offensive options with his signing.
His experience, according to the club's technical staff, might be crucial to their chances of winning a trophy the following season.
Once the remaining transfer formalities are finalized, an official announcement is expected.
The agreement demonstrates Hearts of Oak's desire to assemble a strong team that can contend on several fronts.

Power to the Youth: In support of Colts Football, GFA gives RFAs medals, plaques, and trophies.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has honored the victors of the 2024–25 juvenile (Colts) league season by awarding medals, plaques, and trophies to each of the ten Regional Football Associations (RFAs) as part of its continued dedication to grassroots football development.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, along with Executive Council members Nana Sarfo Oduro and Kingsley Osei Bonsu, and Vice President Mark Addo, presided over the presentation ceremony, which took place at the GFA Secretariat in Accra. The 10 RFA Chairmen formally accepted the items, which demonstrated a collaborative atmosphere and ongoing commitment to youth football development nationwide.
The KGL Foundation kindly supplied the gifts, which comprise 30 gold and silver medals for the winners and runners-up of the Greater Accra and Northern Region Girls Colts Championships, as well as the ten Regional Colts Championships. The total number of medals distributed was 720.
In addition to presenting 24 commemorative plaques to honor the Player of the Tournament and Top Scorer from each of the ten Boys Colts Championships, as well as the Girls Championships in the Greater Accra and Northern Regions, the GFA also recognized individual brilliance.
This program is a component of the GFA's flagship "Power to the Youth" agenda, a comprehensive set of policies that centers Ghana's long-term football development plan around youth football.
The GFA has launched a number of ground-breaking initiatives to revitalize grassroots football over the last five years, with the essential assistance of the KGL Group. Among these initiatives are:
1. Colts' football national comeback.
2. FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) implementation.
3. The founding of the first three elite football academies in Ghana.
4. More age-specific national teams to encourage development that is age-appropriate and structured.
5. Funding for the Catch Them Young Refereeing Policy to train the next generation of referees.
6. 900 Colts coaches countrywide will receive free coaching instruction.
Together, these initiatives have created a solid basis for spotting, developing, and advancing Ghana's football potential for the future.
The GFA is still committed to its goal of fostering and advancing youth football. The Association is paving the way for young players to advance through the ranks and eventually play for Ghana at the top levels of the sport through strategic alliances and creative development initiatives.
"Our youth hold the key to Ghanaian football's future. We are making sure that football flourishes everywhere and that young players have every chance to prosper by investing strategically and working together," GFA President Simeon-Okraku stated.
