Legon City's left-back in preparation for his permanent transfer to Hearts of Oak, Joseph Amoah, will arrive in Accra today for his medical test.

The defender has established himself as one of the Ghana Premier League's most dependable full-backs by playing consistently for Legon Cities.

His upcoming transfer to the Phobians coincides with the team's efforts to bolster its defense options for the forthcoming campaign.

Amoah was a top target for Hearts' technical staff because of his agility and attacking contributions from the left wing.

The medical evaluation is the last step before official approval, bringing the transaction, which has been in the works for several weeks, to its final stages.

Hearts' extensive squad rebuilding campaign includes this purchase, which comes after they signed winger Jonah Attuquaye.

As they get ready for the upcoming season, the club's management is working hard to complete a number of more transfers.

As Fenerbahce and AC Milan circle, the Thomas Partey-Arsenal contract standoff creates exit concerns.

With contract renewal negotiations between the player's side and the club allegedly at a standstill, Ghanaian international Thomas Partey may become a free agent at the end of June.

Negotiations for a new contract have stalled because of a wage dispute, according to a report by CaughtOffside. Arsenal is reportedly unwilling to compromise on the terms, while Partey is reportedly demanding a pay increase above his current £200,000 weekly compensation.

The 32-year-old midfielder had one of his best seasons since moving from Atletico Madrid to the Gunners in 2020. He impressed in midfield and at right-back during his 52 appearances in the 2024–25 season, tallying four goals and dishing out three assists.

Despite the probable signing of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, manager Mikel Arteta is committed to keeping the Ghanaian international to increase squad depth. But the lack of progress in negotiations has made a departure more likely; according to reports, Partey's representative has told Arsenal that he will leave if a new offer is not presented.

Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce and Massimiliano Allegri's AC Milan have both made firm proposals to the former Atletico Madrid player. According to reports, Partey spoke with both managers.

With his contract expiring on June 30, it is currently thought that Partey has a 50/50 chance of staying at the Emirates. If he leaves, Arsenal will probably look into possible successors, and Lucien Agoume of Sevilla is one of the names being investigated.
