This one may really be a surprise to people who follow the Ghana Premier League because he really made an impact for the timber boys when they got the Ghana Premier League title for themselves. Baba Hamadu Musa who moved to FC Samartex from Daboase based division one side known as Sky FC after he had gotten a very good season in the division one league. He immediately hit the ground running by scoring goals and giving assists. But at the moment all that has shocked many people is that it is being reported that Baba Hamadu Musa is making a move to FK Skenderbeu which is in Albania and this one is actually his first ever move outside the country. The sad thing is that the 23 year old moves out of the country as a free agent and his club would not get much of him.
This is sad and not good news for talented player who is also really young to go free like that and also the fact that the timber boys really held him in high esteem at a very particular time. It's now more of a trend now players sign contracts and run it down to join bigger clubs in the country or move somewhere else outside the country for bigger deals. Our game just keeps on dwindling and many say this is a big factor, player movement from the country at their prime causes about 60 percent of our problems.
It's now about going all out for it because good wages would keep most of these players in their respective teams all they move outside do is to get bigger money and make their families happy. Takoradi is happy, the ST. Mary's boys are happy because an old student is climbing the ladder of success. We wish Baba Hamadu Musah the best of luck in his new journey with FK Skenderbeu of Albania.
