After struggling with numerous injuries for the past 3 seasons, black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana is now set to join Italian giants and the Bergamo based side Atalanta on a 4 year deal with an option to extend and also a 15 percent sell on clause for the 23 year old man. His contract would span to 2029. It's been reported that Atlanta is said to have paid a sum around 18 million Euros plus 4 million euros of add ons to get the player from Southampton. And with the deal finalised before the start of preseason, the player would now have to cut his vacation short to quickly move to Italy to complete the deal. Going through his medical assessment and then if he passes signs the deal that has been agreed on. Reports also say that Sulemana is now in Accra and would move to Bergamo with a few people to witness his 4th move since entering the European scene. His first team in Europe was FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark after he moved from the right to dream academy in Ghana. He also moved to Renes in France and played there for about a season before his performance at the world cup got him a move onto the English premier League to play for Southampton football club. It's now time for Kamaldeen to do well again.
He would join his fellow black Stars player Ibrahim Sulemana who has been at the club for about a season now. He did not really have a good season but getting to the end of it, the young man started scoring some crucial goals for the 2024 Europa League champions.
And also for someone who was the fastest player in the last world cup, Sulemana would have a point to prove to the Italian side in why they went all out for him.
