Coming up from a very youthful like Peterborough Kwame Poku would now have a new challenge as he would now be playing in the EFL championship for QPR who are also known as Queens Park Rangers a club that has been in and out of the English Premier League for about 5 seasons now. They have since then been struggling in the EFL championship and even at a point nearly dropped to the league below them.
But with this particular one the club has been invested in, and with the project that lies ahead of them they have been able to bring down the Ghanaian who was being fetched by other good clubs in the space of Europe to the lofty park. Their biggest contender in the chase for Kwame Poku was the Scottish giants Rangers who got beaten to the transfer of Kwame Poku by QPR. They paid close to one million Euros for the 23 year old player from Peterborough. The reported amount was 900 thousand Euros plus add ons which includes performance one and ones that would also benefit the league 2 side. The young man also has more than 200 hundred professional games appearances which is around 220 matches.
He is going to play in the championship for the first time since the 2019/2020 season. His move has really been hyped because QPR see it as a marquee signing that would do more good to their project of returning back to top flight football.
