The University of Cape Coast (UCC), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), has opened its application portal for the 3-Semester Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Sandwich Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.


This carefully structured programme is intended for in-service teachers holding a Diploma in Basic Education, offering them a convenient pathway to earn a degree while continuing their classroom responsibilities.


The academic year for Cohort 9 is set to begin on 27th July 2025.


Programmes Available

Teachers can apply to join any of the following Bachelor of Education programmes:

B.Ed in Early Childhood Education

B.Ed in Primary Education

B.Ed in Junior High School (JHS) Education

Each option is structured to build stronger subject mastery and enhance professional teaching skills.

🛑 Note

There is no fee required to complete the application form.

Candidates must hold a valid DBE or equivalent.

The programme uses both face-to-face and online methods. Ensure access to a smartphone or internet-enabled device.


Applicants must select their preferred study centre according to their elective subject.

Documents required

Applicants must upload scanned copies of their academic certificates and transcripts during the application process. Tuition fees also cover accommodation and meals throughout the session.
