Ahead of the 2025 President's Cup, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has promised the Asante Kotoko team his support.
Next weekend, the Kumasi-based team will travel to Accra to play their bitter rivals.
On Monday, June 30, the Minister paid a visit to the team's practice facilities and inspired the players to fight hard on game day to defeat the Phobians.
During his meeting with the team, Dr. Frank Amoakohene promised to help the Porcupine Warriors win the President's Cup in any way he could.
"We will assist in mobilizing supporters for the 2025 President's Cup on the day of the match. We will give you all the help you require in order for you to honor us. We know you will deliver for us because we believe in you.
"Teamwork is key, and we are supporting you." I am happy that the new players are present so that you can cooperate. Dr. Frank Amoakohene assured the team, "God willing, we are sure you will win for Asanteman on Sunday."
On Sunday, July 6, the Accra Sports Stadium will host the 2025 President's Cup.
At the Accra Sports Stadium, the game will begin at 4 p.m.

Antoine Semenyo, a forward from Ghana, has extended his stay at AFC Bournemouth until the summer of 2030 by signing a new, long-term deal.

Semenyo has so far made 89 appearances for Bournemouth, contributing 10 assists and scoring 22 goals. He will return to the team next week as they get ready for the 2025–2026 campaign.
