Following his appointment as Hearts of Oak's new head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has demanded that the team adopt a definite football philosophy and style of play.
The club's secretariat in Accra hosted the ceremonial introduction of the seasoned coach, who has guided Asante Kotoko to two Ghana Premier League championships. He signs a two-year contract with the Phobians with the hopes of giving the team consistency and identity again.
Dramani's first test will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium in 2025 when he leads Hearts against his old team, Asante Kotoko.
Hearts has a very long history, and we must establish a distinct culture within it as well as solidify a distinct philosophy and play style. During his introduction, Dramani stated, "So that when we appear, everyone can recognize this is Hearts of Oak when our youth teams are playing, and everyone will appreciate they try to replicate what the first team is doing."
It is believed that his nomination is a daring attempt to provide the giants based in Accra with stability and direction.
