The Liberal Party of Ghana is a political party in Ghana. The party replaced the Independent People's Party (IPP) which was originally founded by Kofi Akpaloo in 2011. Akpaloo, who was nominated to be the presidential candidate for the IPP was disqualified from contesting the 2016 Ghanaian general election due to problems with his nomination forms. The new party pledges to put people's lives first through technology.

The world has changed dynamically today, the most important resource needed for transformational change, the most vital commodity, the most attractive capital both foreign and local, is the people.

In the world today, when properly harnessed and utilized, human resource is the most important resource than all other natural resources combined. Gone are the days where natural resources of oil and gas, gold and bauxite led countries to unbelievable prosperity, today we witness a world where a lot of countries with all these natural resources flounder because they failed to develop their most important resource; their people. While on the other hand, countries like Hong Kong, Israel and a lot to mention, with very limited natural resources, have been able to make economic and scientific leaps. This is my vision for Ghana. We will make university Education Free.

Samuel Aryeequaye, the National Organizer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has announced his resignation from the party, effective immediately.

In a public statement, Aryeequaye cited his new role as Secretary General of Diplomatic Envoy Globalization, an internationally recognized diplomatic organization, as the reason for his departure.

Samuel Aryeequaye made this known to Apiah-Kubi on Fabea FM's Morning Show, known as "Me Man Ho Dadwen".

According to Samuel Aryeequaye, his new position bars him from active partisan politics, therefore he chose to resign from active politics.

Aryeequaye expressed gratitude to LPG's founder and flagbearer, Percival Kofi Akpaloo, for the opportunity to serve the party during his stay.

He had previously represented the party as Parliamentary candidate for Agona East in the 2020 general elections and served as National Organizer until his resignation in 2022.

The timing of Aryeequaye's resignation is notable, coming after Akpaloo's recent comments on the military helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight people, including two ministers.

Aryeequaye's statement aims to clarify his position and distance himself from the party, rather than responding to comments from his former boss.

“One of life’s greatest lessons is recognizing when it’s time to move on. Exit gracefully, without burning bridges. That same door might open again, leading you to something greater.

Congratulations to us on our new chapter in Diplomacy
