The Ghana league club association has announced the fixtures for this year's top four competitions that would be played at the Accra sports stadium. The competition that was earlier slated to happen at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was changed due to the circumstances beyond GHALCA. The national sports authority is still struggling to get the pitch back to it good place, hence the choice of the nation's Wembley.
The 4 Club tournament would be opened by Kumasi Asante Kotoko and defending league champions Bibiani Goldstars at 3 pm on the 20th of August 2025, it would be continued with the second match at 6pm on the same day.
The next game day would be on the 22nd of August 2025 as Bibiani Goldstars and Accra Hearts Of Oak would play before the porcupine warriors would come up against the lions from the Volta region, Kpando Hearts Of Lions.
The last day would on the 24th of August which would see Goldstars play Kpando Hearts Of lions first and then the whole event would then be crowned with a super clash which may be the decider of the tournament.
The rules for this competition is simple, just win the group, or get more points from the 3 games you play to become the champion.
Everyone is eagerly looking up to the competition to see how ready the teams are for the season that looks to be a rise of a new dawn for our football in the country, Ghana. The whole euphoria around the game is even more cool when the Ghana football association recently announced one million Cedis from their partnership with Adesa Production limited (APL) and just recently announced again that the win of the new season would get 2 million Cedis when they win. There would be money for 15 teams excluding those who would be relegated. Our game may rise but the people must change the way they see the game.
