Nana Appiah-Adu Oberempong V, the Anaafuorhene of Nkwabeng, a suburb of Nkoranza in the Bono East Region, has emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize the welfare and empowerment of young people in Ghana.

In a recent interview with Fabea FM's Apiah-Kubi, Nana Oberempong stressed that leadership is about serving others and making a positive impact, not personal gain.

According to Nana Oberempong V, leaders are judged based on the impact they make, and their performances are accountable to the people.

"Leadership is about solving problems and bringing positive change to communities, not about personal wealth or gains," he emphasized.

Nana Oberempong V believes leaders should give hope to the youth and make a positive impact on their lives.

"Chiefs and pastors, and other leaders should bring innovative solutions to their communities and help members improve their lives," he noted.

By prioritizing young people's needs and empowering them to become leaders, Ghana can unlock its future potential and drive positive change.

Nana Oberempong V's words echo the sentiments of many development experts and community leaders.

To achieve this, Nana Appiah-Adu Oberempong V suggests pairing young people with experienced mentors to develop life skills and build confidence.

He also recommends providing opportunities for experiential learning activities, such as internships or volunteer work, to develop practical skills and gain valuable life.

Nana Appiah-Adu Oberempong, has reiterated his commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders, stressing that discipline, hard work, and a sincere dedication to service remain the hallmarks of effective leadership.

He also called on the youth to reflect on their lives with visions, and after identifying the visions, they need focus and knowledge and education, and also needs commitment.

We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future. Building youth for the future and in particular, fostering youth leadership is a critical strategy for sustainable growth and innovation. Developing young leaders is not just an investment in individuals, but a solid cornerstone for future success in their communities.

"I will advise the youths to avoid drug abuse  activities, don't be discouraged and take total control your life", Nana Oberempong V stated.

Leadership should be ready to build young leaders for a better future and to empower them to make positive impact in their communities.

Let's provide access to a diverse range of talented individuals who are trained and ready to make an immediate impact. Leadership should equip young learners with the latest skills and knowledge, ensuring they are  perfectly fit for any leadership role . This can be a significant step towards empowering the next generation of leaders.

Remember, the future success of our country depends on the young leaders we will cultivate now. Foster youth leadership skills in the country today.

Instead, the youth must rise up and demand a better future for themselves and their country. They must use their collective power to bring about change and create their own opportunities, even in the face of adversity. They can use determination, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, the youth can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness. The future of Ghana belongs to the youth, and it is time for them to take their rightful place as leaders and change-makers in society.

The time for change is now. The youth of Ghana must seize this moment and shape the future they want. They must reject the status quo and demand a new way of doing things. They must also recognize that they are not alone in this struggle and that there are many allies who are willing to support them.

In the words of Kwame Nkrumah, “The future of Ghana is bright, and the future of Africa is bright.” Let us work together to make this vision a reality. Let us build a Ghana that is worthy of our ourselves.

A Ghana that is a beacon of hope, progress in Africa and the world. We owe it to ourselves, our country, and future generations to keep hope alive and work towards a brighter future for all.
