In a shocking revelation that has set social media shaken, Nigerian senator and businessman (Prince Ned Nwoko) has accused his actress wife, (Regina Daniels), of substance abuse and violent behavior, calling it the main cause of ongoing problems in their six-year marriage.
Making this statement through his page on Facebook which was released on October 20, 2025, Nwoko claimed that his young wife had developed a need on alcohol and hard drugs, which allegedly led to episodes of aggression and property damage at their Abuja residence. According to the statement, Regina had “slapped and attacked three domestic staff, destroyed vehicles and windows, and threatened anyone who intervened.”
The senator further revealed that he had offered his wife the option of entering rehabilitation, either in Abuja or abroad, specifically in Jordan, to aid in her recovery. “This is not a matter of shame but a call for help. I have done all I can to support her, but the addiction has created deep cracks in our home,” Nwoko reportedly said.
The allegations, which surfaced after months of speculation about marital strain between the couple, immediately triggered a media frenzy. Many fans expressed shock, while others questioned the timing and motive of the public disclosure.
However, the Daniels family has strongly denied the claims. In a counter-statement issued the following day, Samuel Daniels, Regina’s elder brother, described the allegations as “completely false and malicious,” asserting that his sister was neither addicted to drugs nor violent. “Regina is not affiliated with any drug abuse or misuse,” he said, urging the public to treat the matter as a private family issue. He added that “no marriage is perfect” and appealed for understanding from the public.
