Kwesi Appiah, a member of the Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), has urged perseverance and solidarity as his team works to win the Ghana Premier League in 2025–2026.
With 24 points after 14 games, the Porcupine Warriors are third in the league standings.
The team's uneven performance has prompted supporters to demand that head coach Karim Zito be fired.
In an interview, however, Appiah stressed the value of learning throughout the process while acknowledging the difficulties associated with making decisions.
He told Akoma FM, "We all need to be patient since team development is a continuous process."
"While certain judgments may not always be right, they offer valuable lessons, and we are doing our best."
The seasoned strategist reiterated his team's desire to contend for the league championship and insisted that they are still totally dedicated to the battle.
"We want to win the Ghana Premier League title, but more importantly, we are ready to fight to the very end."
When Asante Kotoko travels to play Eleven Wonders in the Matchday 15 games at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, they will look to continue their quest for the championship.
