Happy new year fellas, lovers of football and a followers of our dear dear blog, it's a pleasure having you here. The masses wanted another guy who is in the news but after the IMC tested the waters and saw it was impossible they went low key and finally found someone who was not yet on high horses but was equally good and even gave them an advantage to sign him for a low transfer fee. The window has ended but we happy to share with you the transfer success of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the just past window.
Asante Kotoko IMC took advantage of the 6 months left on his contract and signed him from Nations football club at a moderate fee to replace the out going Samuel Tenadu who has mutually terminated his contract with the porcupine warriors. Prince Badu also signed 3 years for the club and is expected to fit into the defensive midfield roles as soon as possible as the head coach Karim Zito would count on him very well. At the contract signing ceremony Prince was there in attendance with his family to observe the historic moment in his life as he joins the best club in Ghana and West Africa. He would be wear the 44 numbered shirt from now till the end of season.
Remember that Samuel joined the kings club from Legon cities last season with high hopes to help the club.
25 year old Prince Badu who we can now say is an Asante Kotoko play had less than 6 months left on his contract, which meant any interested club could sign a pre contract and tame him down as a free player for the summer market. This happens only if and only if his or her mother club at the moment is proving stubborn to sell the player to another club after the player has made it clear he would not continue for the current club.
