1. Charles Kwadwo Fosu (Daddy Lumba)



On 26th July 2025, Ghana has lost on of our greatest hit of all time. Charles Kwadwo Fosu who was professionally known as Daddy Lumba, a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, a musician and a record producer. A Prolific notable figure in modern highlife. He is one of the greatest influential Ghanaian musicians of all time. Lumba was noted for his songwriting and dynamic artistry rooted in Ghanaian culture and folklore. His lyrics touch on topics such as, love, family money and life.He passed away after a short illness which was connected to a long-term undisclosed health issue that was linked to a past spinal  surgery.



2. Kwadwo Safo kantanka

Kwadwo Safo Kantanka was born in Bekwai, Ashanti, He reportedly always had passion for science and technology and grew up desiring to pursue and develop his talent in that

space . After completing basic education, he attended the Ghana Technical Works Institute in Kumasi, where he studied engineering, and later worked as a welder at the Volta Aluminium Company (VALCo) and other firms . In 1969, Safo founded the Kristo Asafo Mission, initially as a prayer group. In 1971, the Mission became an African-initiated church, with it later expanding into manufacturing electronics, agricultural tools, and automobiles.


Nana Konadu Agyeman was born in Cape

Coast, Gold Coast (now the Central Region of Ghana), on 17 November 1948, to J. O. T. Agyeman and his wife. She attended the Ghana International School. Later, she

moved to Achimota School where she met her future husband, Jerry John Rawlings. She went on to study Art and textiles at the University of Science and Technology. She was a student leader of her hall of residence, Africa Hall. In 1975, she earned an interior design diploma from the London College of Arts
