Reports have it that the interim management committee of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been dissolved and Manhyia would very soon look to set up a board for it to set up a management for itself.
Even though this is unconfirmed sources ls say that a prominent 43 year old man who was part of the old board of directors that the club had is very interested in taking over the role as the new executive board director as he would be the main man behind this project. 
Kofi Amoa Abban who's name has been in the public domain for over 2 years now, is getting and gain more momentum as reports say that the IMC has been collapsed.
Many see it that the IMC has been given to much chance to prosper but they have just not been able to make a head way through all their 3 seasons. The amazing thing is that they have been able to get some good wins in cup matches that many underestimated them to come victorious.
Reports also have it that the chairman of the IMC would surely have a seat at the new board so that he keeps on being the link between the team and the palace. If nothing changes Nana Apinkra Awuah would be there for the time being.
But even apart from that the porcupine warriors are now 4th on the league log and trailing 7 points to a Medeama SC team that has been very poor in their last 3 games. The push must still go on but we all know the Kotoko is not likely to win a trophy this season as they are already out of the MTN FA cup.
