GHANAIAN MIDFIELDER CALEB YIRENKYI HAS BEEN NAMED IN COVENTRY CITY'S STARTING LINEUP FOR THEIR EFL

Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has been named in Coventry City's starting lineup for their EFL Cup second-round encounter against Plymouth Argyle.

The 20-year-old midfielder was selected to start the Tuesday, August 25, 2026, fixture, marking his second start under Coventry manager Frank Lampard.

Yirenkyi recently joined Coventry from Danish club Nordsjælland in a deal reported to be worth around €27 million, making him a club-record signing. His move to the English side came earlier this month, and he has quickly begun to establish himself within the squad.
