Francisca Lamini of Keta Senior High Technical School (SHTS) is the first female student to make it to the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) finals in the recent eight (8) years, according to GHBase.archives Com's checks.
According to our research, no female student has ever competed in the grand finals since the 2013 competition between St. Thomas Aquinas SHS, Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School, and Mfantsiman Girls' SHS, in which St. Thomas Aquinas won.
But the wait is over as Francisca Lamini, an exceptional young girl, overcomes the eight-year delay as KETASCO makes history for the Volta Region in the ongoing 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) events.
The school was the first to compete in the grand finale of the National Science and Math Quiz competitions in 2021.
For the first time in the Volta Region's history, Keta SHTS defeated the Wesley Girls' Senior High School and the Tamale Senior High School in the Semi-Finals to earn a spot in the grand finale.
