In Sunday's journey to London to face Chelsea, Michael Carrick will lead Manchester United as caretaker manager for the first and last time in the Premier League.
Following the game, Ralf Rangnick will take over on a temporary basis and will lead United for the remainder of the season until a new manager is chosen.
Carrick's only previous game in command was a win in the Champions League, when United defeated Villarreal in Spain, providing a much-needed boost after Watford's thumping last weekend.
Here's a list of possible starting lineups for the caretaker boss.
David De Gea (GK) -The consistency is slowly returning. He kept Villarreal at bay, and Watford's score would have been worse if he hadn't.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) -He still doesn't have any meaningful challenge for his spot. In the coming weeks, the Rangnick period could make or break him.
Eric Bailly (CB) -Due to Harry Maguire's suspension, the Ivorian will make only his second league start. In the centre of defence, United are suddenly down to the bare bones.
Victor Lindelof (CB) -Despite being the third choice overall, he is suddenly tasked with becoming the senior centre-back and leader.
Telles, Alex (LB) - Luke Shaw's continued uncertainties following a second head injury in as many weeks indicate that there is an opportunity here.
McTominay, Scott (CM) - On his day, he can be a driving force and frequently rises up for the big games. This season has seen his share of difficulties, including surgery in the summer and illness earlier this month.
Donny van de Beek (CM) - Has done enough to win his first Premier League start since May. Fred is questionable due to an injury, and the only other viable alternative is Nemanja Matic.
Bruno Fernandes (AM) - He Will be eager to regain his peak performance. Wasn't particularly effective against Watford, and will most likely benefit from playing in a more unified tactical scheme once Rangnick comes over.
Jadon Sancho (RW) - Jadon Sancho is a right winger who has Finally seemed to be fitting well, scoring his first goal for the club in midweek against Villarreal.
Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Cristiano Ronald Despite a flurry of Champions League goals, the veteran has only scored once in his last seven Premier League appearances. The beginning of a promising relationship with Sancho has the potential to transform all of that.
Marcus Rashford (LW) - Marcus Rashford is a striker who plays for Manchester United. He always has a solid game against Chelsea, and some of his best goals for United have come against the Blues.
