The Member of Parliament of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has received a grand welcome in Parliament on Friday, November 26 after his long time absence.
The controversial MP received numerous handshakes from his fellow MPs who were glad to see him once more in Parliament.
Kennedy Agyapong, who was away from Parliament for some weeks now appeared in the Chamber on Friday to witness the concluding debate on the 2020 budget statement.
Some weeks ago, there were several claims on the internet that Kennedy Agyapong was hit by stroke and so he traveled to the United States for treatment.
This allegation was fuelled by Afia Schwarzenegger who posted the MP's picture on the internet asking for prayers upon him.
However, the MP's son, Kenneth Agyapong, speaking on Oman Fm, rubbished the rumour.
“He is doing well in the United States and there is nothing wrong with him. One of my sisters is with him and he is doing fine,' he said.
But two days ago, the controversial MP was seen in the house of Parliament receiving a grand welcome from his colleagues.
