Cesc Fabregas reacted on Twitter after Gabriel Martinelli scored his first goal of the season against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Cesc Fabregas and Ian Wright both believe Gabriel Martinelli's goal against Newcastle United was "tough" to perfect as Arsenal bounced back from their setback the previous weekend.
The Gunners defeated the Magpies 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, with to second-half goals from Bukayo Saka and Martinelli.
Martinelli's second goal came after a superb lifted pass from Takehiro Tomiyasu, who met the ball on the volley and sent it over Martin Dubravka and into the back of the net.
The 20-year-old, who scored less than two minutes into his brief appearance, scored for the first time this season as he attempts to force his way back into Mikel Arteta's first-team plans.
Fabregas, a former Arsenal midfielder, took to Twitter shortly after Martinelli's score, apparently impressed by what he saw from the Gunners attacker.
He wrote on Twitter: "What a noble ambition. Finishing was quite difficult (fire emoji)."
After a 'tough' period for Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas and Ian Wright have reached an agreement on Gabriel Martinelli.

Wright, an Arsenal legend, was likewise effusive in his admiration with the former Gunners striker explaining just how difficult the finish was, but also criticised Dubravka.
He stated on Premier League Productions, as reported by Metro: "It's especially difficult when it's coming over your right shoulder. I believe the goalie must make some form of touch with him at some point." For me, the goalkeeper has made things a little bit simpler for him; he has to be there in his face because he has to take his attention off where the goalie is at some point to concentrate on the connection." The goalkeeper should have been in his face, telling him he needed to turn his gaze away from it, but he wasn't close enough. Tomiyasu has a tremendous finish and a great ball, but he needs to be closer."
Martinelli will be hoping that his 25-minute cameo will be enough to persuade Arteta to play him against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Arteta's goal against Newcastle was his sixth Premier League appearance this season, and he characterized it as a "huge occasion" for him.
"It's a major deal for him. "I'm very thrilled for him because of the way he behaves," Gunners manager Arsene Wenger said of Martinelli during his post-match press conference.
"Some players are respectful when you make decisions, and some players are extremely respectful, as he is."
He makes every decision you make more difficult because he deserves better. I'm overjoyed since he contributed to the team's three-point victory tonight."
