Despite excellent growth rates over the years, Ghana confronts a challenging issue in producing more and better jobs as a medium of jobs inside the manufacturing sector, according to the World Bank research.

According to the report, 'Rising Ghana,' the agricultural sector has been losing labor, although it remains a major source of employment in the country.

"A rising star, but Ghana's growth path did not straighten out," the report said.

The country is facing a huge production difficulty, according to the research, since resource production has decreased over the last 20 years, while production has decreased.

Low informal resources took over personnel, yet they are underperforming. The financial services sector experienced a 650 percent increase in employment between 1990 and 2018.

This was followed by a 400 percent increase in government services and a nearly 400 per cepercentase in commercial services.

Job growth has been slow in agriculture and mining. In order to boost job creation and productivity, the research advised that the government start a transformation program in its next phase of growth.
