A CLARION CALL

Many have argued that the national science and mathematics quiz held annually has no benefits to its  stakeholders especially the contestants involved.  To these critics,the program is just a replica of the educational system whose objective is to produce 'chew and pour' graduates. Although the criticism labelled against the event may be true. Its impact to stakeholders suffice the interest that the program is of relevant today as it was in its early days.

Contestants who perform exceptionally are given scholarship to further application in their desired field. The event has served as an avenue for companies to display good public image and show that education is of interest to society as well.

The program continues to fulfill its impact in ensuring participation school are abreast with  information pertaining to the science and maths field.  To critics who value more practical aspects of the program should implement initiatives and infrastructures to support it. Until then let appreciate  the nation's number one educational event.
