The Media Digest: Liverpool could sell two players to boost their transfer budget, while the club is reportedly interested in Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ousmane Dembélé.

The cost of a full-back has been determined.

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool will let Neco Williams leave in January if someone pays their asking price of £10 million.

The Reds would have sold Williams for the same fee in the summer, but they did not receive an offer, so the Welsh right-back remained at Anfield.

Given that Williams hasn't played much for Liverpool and has almost no chance of unseating Trent Alexander-Arnold, it makes sense that the situation would remain the same.

Williams, on the other hand, adds depth at right-back and can play in the forward line, which could be useful against Crystal Palace and Brentford during the AFCON.

West Ham has 'laid the groundwork' for a transfer.

According to Football Insider, Nat Phillips could join West Ham in January as David Moyes looks for a replacement for Angelo Ogbonna, who could be out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

According to the report, around £12 million would be enough to persuade Liverpool to let him leave, as was the case last summer. Phillips, on the other hand, hasn't played much since, and the Hammers could try to negotiate a lower fee.

Jürgen Klopp dubbed Phillips a "aerial monster" for his performances last season, but with the injured players back and the addition of £36 million Ibrahima Konaté, he is now firmly fifth choice at centre-back.

Dembélé is 'determined' to leave on his own terms.

Long-time Liverpool-linked Ousmane Dembélé, the Barcelona winger, is said to be 'determined' to leave his current club as a free agent in the summer.

The France attacker's contract expires at the end of the season, and according to Spanish football newspaper Sport, he has rejected Barcelona's best and final offer.

Dembélé has been linked with both Liverpool and Newcastle United. If he became available for free, there would no doubt be others who expressed an interest.
