Harry Maguire is back in the lineup for Manchester United's match against Arsenal on Thursday night at Old Trafford.
The 20:15 GMT kick-off is live on Amazon Prime Video in the UK (fans can sign up here) and will be the first game since Ralf Rangnick was named interim manager, despite the fact that the new man is still awaiting the processing of his work visa.
Captain Maguire was suspended for the 1-1 draw at Chelsea after receiving a red card in the defeat to Watford, but he is back in contention. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof impressed at Stamford Bridge, but Raphael Varane is still expected to miss the game due to injury.
Phil Jones returned to the Premier League matchday squad for the first time this season and was among the substitutes on Sunday.
Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba, and Edinson Cavani were all unavailable for Chelsea, with caretaker manager Michael Carrick emphasizing ahead of time that left-back Shaw was still being evaluated after suffering a couple of head injuries in recent games.
Mason Greenwood, on the other hand, returned after testing positive for COVID-19 and was an unused substitute. Cristiano Ronaldo started on the bench as well, but will be hoping to start against Arsenal, a club with whom he had many great battles during his previous stint in Manchester.
ARSENAL'S TEAM NEWS
Mikel Arteta is awaiting the results of a scan on Bukayo Sako's injury, which he suffered in last week's 2-0 win over Newcastle United. The England international opened the scoring against the Magpies before being forced off with a thigh injury.
Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac are both injured, but the in-form north Londoners should be fine for their trip north. Kieran Tierney of Scotland has had to settle for a bench spot recently, with Nuno Tavares impressing at full-back.
Aaron Ramsdale has been outstanding in goal since taking over for Bernd Leno.
