Eerything is clear that, the contract for an 'uncertified' TM1 Laptops which was manufactured by an 'unregistered' KA TECHNOLOGIES, which has no history of manufacturing laptops, and deemed not fit enough to win such a contract was negotiated by GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT.
Upon all the concerns raised by Members of the teacher unions, the three teacher unions still supervised the wrongful deductions of Ghc509 in favour of the questionable laptop.
Members of these unions and other beneficiaries were not consulted during the negotiations for the laptop deal. The purpose of joining a Teacher union cannot be guaranteed here.
The best way to teach GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT a lesson as being hugely considered by members is to exit at once.
It has to start from you, then to those around you till the last person exits.
At least, for this month alone, every GNAT member should exit.
Majority it teachers in the country are this agitated about the situation and are considering mass Exodus from the above mentioned associations.
It is therefore not going to be a surprise that the other teacher unions like Innovative Teachers and ATAG are going to see a rise in their membership.
