The appeal of actress and socialite Rosemond Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo, was dismissed by the High Court's Criminal Court 1 Division.
In June 2020, an Accra Circuit Court sentenced Akuapem Poloo to 90 days in prison for disseminating obscene material and breaching the dignity and integrity of her seven-year-She posted a naked photo of her 10-year-old son on social media.
Despite the fact that she had served a portion of her sentence, her lawyers appealed the verdict, alleging it was excessively harsh.
Meanwhile, she was released on GH80,000 bond until the conclusion of her appeal.
The Court dismissed her appeal on Wednesday, December 1, and ordered her to serve the remainder of her 90-day term.
