TThe Kaneshie District Court has rescinded a warrant for the arrest of Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for the Madina constituency in Accra.
It would be recalled that the court on November 29, issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the Legislator for failing to appear before court on three consecutive sittings.
In response to the warrant, the Member of Parliament through his lawyers filed a stay of execution against bench warrant accusing the Police of interfering in his Parliamentary duties.
The warrant was rescinded today after the MP showed up at the District Court today.
The case has been adjourned to January 2022. He was accompanied today by Haruna Iddrisu, minority leader and other members of the minority.
