Strange things will continue to happen as long as we live in this world. Stephen, a young man, has found himself in prison for an amusing but tragic reason. Mr. Ibrahim Oppong of the Crime Check Foundation was informed. He claims to be from the Northern Region but came to work in the Ashanti Region's Kunsu-Mankranso. He engaged in illegal mining, known as Galamsey, but he came to a halt along the way due to a government order to stop doing so with immediate effect. Before the galamsey business collapsed, he stated he met a really lovely lady named Monica, whom he meant to marry.
It left him with 1000 cedis, plus 500 cedis from the lady to start something fresh. He decided to transfer the money to Kumasi and see what he could do with it. Unfortunately for him, when he arrived in Kumasi, he noticed individuals selling phones by the railroad tracks and approached them. They were able to persuade him to buy a phone for a cheap price because he believed that if he bought it for that price, he would be able to sell it for a higher price when he returned to the village. They replaced the phone with a broken tile and packaged it attractively for him after giving them the money. He returned to the location of the transaction before realizing it was a tile, but they had already left.
Worried Stephen met a new individual and told him about his ordeal. The guy also directed him to a location in the hopes of retrieving his money. He was transported to a den of hardcore thieves, who plundered him of everything he had, leaving him with nothing. He was able to return to his village, but he refused to tell his lady what had transpired. To appease her, he went to steal a motorcycle, which he planned to sell and recoup his stolen funds, but he didn't realize the bike belonged to a police officer. He was apprehended and beaten to a pulp, resulting in the soiling of his boxer shorts. He was imprisoned before being arraigned in court. He ended up in prison as a result of this.
He claimed that he made the decision to go the extra mile to make the lovely fair lady happy, which got him in serious difficulties. The lady is still using his phone and the SIM card he provided her, but she does not answer when he calls. She has never visited him in prison since he was imprisoned. What matters is that he has seen the light and has repented as a result of the experience he has had in the short time he has been there. He stated that he has progressed in his life as well.
