The MP of Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has dispelled allegations by the minority that she was absent from the parliamen House on Tuesday when the house approved the 2022 budget. Addressing the house on Wednesday, Adrian Safo indicated that she was present and voted to rescind the earlier decision by the house to reject the budget.
"Mr speaker, this is a house of record and as former deputy majority leader of this house, I was present in the house yesterday". These were the words she told the first deputy speaker ,Joseph Osei Owusu who presided over Wednesday's sitting.
Her comments come as a reaction to a statement by North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who disclosed on Joy FM that the minority in Parliament is investigating a case of impersonation of Sarah Adwoa Safo, the MP of Dome-Kwabenya
