A level 400 final year student by name, Peniel Dennis Ojuka, has reportedly truncated his breath.
According to a report, the deceased, 24 years old, initially complained of depression following his inability to write his trailed courses with his colleagues.
The report says, he was constantly seen at his department pleading to have his trailed courses mounted so that he could rewrite them but when his demands were not granted, he resorted to suicide.
In a communique, the management of the University announced the demise of the final year student.
"We announce with great sadness the sudden demise of one of our students at our Oyibi Campus, Peniel Dennis Ojuka (24 years), a final year student with the Department of Development Studies."
The communique urges the university community to remember Dennis in their prayers.
