CAPTAIN SMART ARRESTED BY POLICE OVER HARSH PRONOUNCEMENTS

The host of the morning show on Onua Tv, Godsbrain Smart, widely known as Captain Smart, has been arrested by cops over comments the cops described as "unsavory pronouncements that hinge on peace and security."

Captain Smart is currently in the custody of the police to assist with investigations.

The National Media Commission in a release said the suspect advocated "insurrection against the state of Ghana and its institutions" on the radio.

As to whether this will lead to the dismissal of Smart by his employers, it is not yet known because he was recently employed after resigning from Angel TV.
