Tension continues to rise in the camps of Rocky Dawuni and Stonebwoy, after the announcement of nominees for the prestigious award ceremony, Grammy. Ghana was fortunate to have a representative nominated for the best Global music album. Rocky Dawuni's Voice of bunbon(Volume 1) was part of the category.

Stonebwoy felt the need to also be celebrated as he had contributed to three music album which had been nominated as well. Rocky Dawuni granted an interview in which he explained that getting featured on an album doesn't necessarily make one a Grammy nominee. Stonebwoy took to Instagram post as a subtle jab.

Rocky Dawuni later cleared the air on the controversy and his his feelings that he is hurt on how his statement has been misinterpreted and that he does not have anything against stonebwoy's Grammy nomination.
