Prempeh College, the reigning champions, handed over the NSMQ trophy to His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace yesterday.
Prempeh College won its fifth title after defeating Accra's Presec Legon for the sixth time and the Volta Region's Keta Senior High Technical School for the first time.
These three top schools were vying for the coveted NSMQ trophy, including defending champion Presbyterian Boys' SHS (PRESEC), Legon.
Quiz mistress Dr Elsie Effah Kauffman, who was followed by students and teachers from the winning team, handed the trophy to the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace, who also commended the team on their outstanding achievement.
Otumfuo expressed his pride in the team's accomplishments and expressed gratitude for their efforts.
