Overall Best Farmer for Accra Metropolitan Assembly honored with tiny Bicycle, sprayer and assorted items.
Today 3rd December is a day set aside to celebrate farmers and commend them for the good work the are doing.
It is often set aside as a National holiday across the country. The news in circulation is that the overall best farmer for Accra Metropolitan Assembly was rewarded with a tiny bicycle, sprayer and some items.
This was sighted on the Twitter page of Ghana seasoned broadcaster and journalist Serwaa Amihere. The comments from Ghanaians under the tweet are laced with anger and disappointment.

"You know what bores me about that award? The fact that it came from AMA- one of the highest, if not the highest performing MMDAs in Ghana in terms of IGF. Other districts that I know of who are performing far lesser than AMA's IGF gave out tricycles and other valuable items."
