Following Forbes' recent declaration that the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the African of the year, Ghanaian social media users have reacted intensely to this development.
Many are those who have congratulated the President and said he really deserved the honour. Such people are of the view that the President, over his inauguration as President, has moved the country in the direction of prosperity.

While others have congratulated the President, other netizens are also of the view that the President did not deserve the honour.

The Ghanaian president was on Friday, November 3, honored by Forbes Magazine.
The Magazine in its recent publication named him the 2021 African of the year.
According to the publication, the President has put Ghana in the international market as an independent country that solely depends on its own treasures.
