After a Motorking tricycle filled with wood fell on him at Sor No 1, an agricultural village in Damongo, Savannah Region, a young man died.
The timber, which was supposed to be used for roofing, fell on him and killed him instantly. According to eye witnesses, the loaded Motorking attempted but failed to ascend a hill, and the weight of the wood dragged him back and tipped the motorking upsidedown.
The young man, whose name was provided as Latif, hails from the Savannah Region's Damongo Zongo. When the tragic situation occurred in the middle of the road with the wood and the machine falling on him, he was the only person on the motorcycle.
Police were called right away and arrived to the scene, but it was too late. The body was then buried in accordance with Islamic rituals and laws.
