Kennedy Agyapong and Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, members of Parliament for the Assin Central and Dome Kwabenya constituencies, respectively, became demigods of the majority caucus in Parliament when it came time to accept or reject the budget. This was due to the fact that their absence meant the minority would win because they would have the majority number. As a result, when the two arrived at parliament, they were greeted with joy by their colleagues.
Honorable Sarah Adwoa was conspicuously absent from the country for an extended period of time. Everyone knew her departure from the party was the consequence of some internal strife. Many predicted that she would return to her previous position after the budget was approved and voted on. She will, however, be required to stay in the country for at least one month, as per the President's new directions to all ministers and deputy ministers.
His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, has placed a temporary travel ban on his ministries and deputy ministers. Only one exception to this rule was made: a medical emergency. Asaase Radio shared this information on their official Facebook page.
This isn't exclusive to Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.
